Carlor moves to new premises in 2016
JANUARY 2016 : In 2015 Carlor celebrated 15 years of existence. We would like to thank you all for your support and your confidence. Over the last few years, Carlor Engineering has encountered a huge activity growth and after 4 years spent in Liège – Belgium, it’s time for Carlor Engineering to relocate to a brand new purpose built facility near Liège (Sprimont) – Belgium.
The new facility (700 m²) will be over double the size of the existing unit allowing the business to expand further. Projects already exist to double the size of this brand new factory. The move will take place in September 2016. The factory will respect the most demanding thermal insulation criteria and will be autonomous in terms of electricity with the help of 10kW photovoltaic panels.
The new facility is located at 20km from the existing location, 2 km from the Highway E25 in a brand new industrial estate. This new property will allow the business to grow to the next phase and will incorporate larger production and storage facilities.
A new office complex will be created, to ensure all areas of the business have the facilities to ensure we grow. “With more than double the size available for stores and production, a great new office facility for staff and visitors, along with improved access to the E25, this is ideal for the future of Carlor Engineering” commented Fabian Klaurens, Managing Director.
